Hit the slopes in the beautiful Catskills Feb. 7-9 with Hudson Valley’s LGBTQ+ organizers including Big Gay Hudson Valley, Pride Center of the Capital Region and Hudson Valley LGBTQ+ Community Center, for NYS Pride Ski Weekend 2025 at Belleayre Mountain in Highmount.
Skiers and snowboarders are welcome to cruise down all of Belleayre Mountains’ 62 trails and enjoy entertainment and special festivities throughout the weekend. Events on the docket take visitors on a tour of an increasingly vibrant nightlife, culinary, and cultural scene in Kingston where the mountains meet the Hudson River.
On Friday, Feb. 7 enjoy a cozy DJ set from NYC’s Urban Bear at the warm and inviting Stockade Tavern in Kingston from 8-11 p.m. Or journey to a popular queer hotspot in town called Unicorn Bar for “Queeraoke” with host Major Mayhem.
On Saturday, strap on your boots and hit the lifts for trailblazing. New to skiing or snowboarding? Rent your equipment at the mountain and take a lesson from one of the instructors. But try not to wear yourself out so you can enjoy an après-ski tea dance at the lodge from 1-4 p.m.
Back in Kingston, attend “The Wonderful World of Drag” at the Old Dutch Church with host Paige Turner at 8:30 p.m. or head back over to Unicorn Bar for “Sapphic Nights: The Strappy Slut” a special themed evening for strap-on wearers and curious cats.
Wind down on Sunday and enjoy brunch at Hotel Kinsley or wind up with bottomless brunch cocktails. Either way, you’ll be just in time for Men’s Nude Yoga at The Yoga House on Broadway at 2:30 p.m. Sounds like the perfect weekend right? Register here to join the fun.
