Airline flights are one of the biggest expenses when planning a trip, and if you don’t know where to look you could end up paying hundreds of dollars more than necessary. If you’re looking for a last minute deal on your next trip, we’ve compiled a list of sites where you can find the best prices for your flights.

All platforms included are user friendly and make it easy to find flights by in putting your destination and current location along with desired travel dates to find the best flights. From there you can filter your findings based on airline, layover, price, time, and more.

    Skyscanner

If you asked someone who travels often to recommend a site they use to find cheap flights, many would likely say Skyscanner. If you’ve searched far and wide between airlines and booking platforms, Skyscanner is one of the best places to find cheaper fares for your trip.

    StudentUniverse

Don’t be fooled by the name, you don’t have to be a student to use StudentUniverse. This site offers some of the best deals on overseas flights that are meant to be affordable for even student budgets.

    Expedia

Expedia is one of the oldest webites for finding flights and it has evolved over the years as the travel industry has modernized. Expedia has been providing info about flights to the masses since the 90s, so booking flights is easy and the platform is user friendly. When you book flights, Expedia instantly gives you options to book hotels, cars, and plan activities at your destination.

What’s also great about this platform is the alternate date function which shows a user the dates before and after your selected travel date and the prices on those days. This can help you see if a flight is pricier on Friday than Saturday.

    Travelocity

This platform works almost exactly like Expedia, offering flight information along with accommodations, cars, packages, things to do and even has a section for cruises. Here you can find your flight, a vacation rental, and a car rental to get you there, all in one go.

    Google Flights

What’s great about this application is that you can track flights and get notifications when the prices are low. So if you’re looking to book a roundtrip flight under $1000 for example, you can have the tracker notify you when prices are below that number. Google Flights also has filters that allow you to see the emissions for each flight, so you can choose flights with lower environmental impact.
