Year-round, Key West hosts many LGBTQ-friendly events, including a sensational and renowned Pride celebration each June. However, there is still more more fun to be found at special events this summer and fall.

BrewFest is taking place August 29 – September 2. Hosted by Southernmost Beach Resort, this multi-day festival includes beer pairing dinners, pool parties, tap takeovers and a signature tasting event with over 150 beers to try. Events during the festival will take place at restaurants, hotels and bars around town giving visitors a great opportunity to explore the area.

Key West Favorite Son Celebration. This year from August 30 – September 2 Key West’s Just a Few Friends honors Jimmy Buffet with this multi-day festival. Events include a cheeseburger contest, 5k run, margarita bar crawl, a walking parade, sunset cruise and farewell party.

Womenfest! Calling all bisexual, lesbian, trans and queer women September 4-8! Now’s your chance to celebrate all women with allies and friends. This event features activities for everyone. Socialize, enjoy the sun, party and dance into the night and feel safe and comfortable being yourself. For 20 years, Womenfest has been a safe haven for women ages 21 and over, including couples, singles and everything in between.

Headdress Ball. The Key West Business Guild proudly presents the 41st Anniversary Edition of the Headdress Ball, the premier LGBTQ+ event of the Fantasy Fest (Oct 18 -27), presented on Thursday, October 24, 2024, at the Coffee Butler Amphitheater, Truman Waterfront Park.
