Travelers who like to vacation with their four-legged friends will find plenty of great accommodation in Massachusetts, which is home to many pet-friendly hotels and inns from the Berkshires to Boston and beautiful Cape Cod.

    Briarcliff Motel – Great Barrington

This retro-modern motel is located just an hour from the New York border in the lovely town of Great Barrington in the Berkshire Mountains. This region has a wealth of outdoor activities perfect for exploring with your dog. Briarcliff also offers a list of doggy daycares, groomers and spa services, along with guides to hikes and outdoor fun.

    Red Lion Inn – Stockbridge

A short drive from the Briarcliff Motel is another pet-friendly getaway, the historical Red Lion Inn in Stockbridge. This year, the inn is celebrating its 250th anniversary and continuing a tradition of hosting four-legged friends with an array of offerings including an “adventure box” full of gifts for dogs including toys, organic dog treats, flea and tick spray, and a collapsible dog bowl. The inn is also partnered with local groomers and spas who can pamper your pet.

Omni Boston Hotel at the Seaport – Boston

A perfect place for pets in Boston’s seaport district is this elevated hotel experience that will pamper you and your pup. With the ‘Pampered Pup’ package, this location offers grooming, dog walking, bathing and $100 credit to Petiquette Boutique & Spa! There are even Petiquette Pooch Concierge staff members available to pick up your pup directly from the hotel for these special services.

    Lands End Inn – Provincetown

Land’s End Inn welcomes dogs up to 90 lbs for an additional fee of $50 per pet, per night. Only seven designated Garden Level rooms are pet friendly, and well-behaved pets may be left in the room unattended. Four-legged guests receive a welcome basket with a Lands End dog cookie, waste bags, bowls, and a towel at check-in. There is a large lawn where dogs can play, and a designated relief area on the property.

    Chatham Bars Inn – Chatham

If you’re looking for a seaside getaway, you’ll find great pet services in Cape Cod’s quaint town of Chatham. This seaside inn sits right on the beach and offers special rooms for visitors with pets. These rooms provide a dog bed and treats, and the hotel staff will give you pointers on the best places for walks.
