Cirque Du Soleil Brings NYC to Vegas With the ‘Mad Apple’

Cirque Du Soleil has almost become synonymous with Las Vegas, bringing the city numerous high-profile shows like O and Ka. The brand is a mix of theater, acrobatics, and circus performances, all set to excellent music and surrounded by incredible set pieces.

Now, Cirque is bringing another new show to Vegas, this time to the New York, New York resort. The new show, called Mad Apple, will be like nothing Cirque has ever produced before. The show will combine the traditional acrobatic and circus elements of Cirque with live music and comedy, producing a much younger, louder, and more lively show than their other Vegas mainstays. It will premiere on May 26, 2022.

In fact, the show’s poster proudly proclaims, “Cirque, Comedy. Music, Mayhem!” Check out the show’s exclusive preview trailer below:

The show is designed to transport audiences to a wild night out in Manhattan.“Mad Apple will deliver a night of joy and entertainment with the thrilling backdrop of New York City,” said Simon Painter, Mad Apple concept co-creator and executive producer in a press release. “We’ve taken inspiration from the city’s rich musical history, legendary comedy scene and unrivaled nightlife, and combined it with the wow factor of Cirque du Soleil to create an experience that will feel like a giant party from start to finish.”

The New York, New York resort is a natural fit for the show, seeing as it’s already designed after the Big Apple.

Crique’s new show, Mad Apple will premiere on May 26, 2022. For more info or to buy tickets, visit the show’s official site.
